Peoria Rivermen (SPHL) | Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations Peoria, IL | 2021 - Present
Served as the play-by-play voice of the Peoria Rivermen for all home and away games while leading the organization's media relations, digital communications, and game-day communications efforts.
Developed and executed a comprehensive communications strategy encompassing media relations, digital content, social media, website management, and game-day communications, contributing to the organization's highest attendance in more than a decade.
Served as primary media liaison for local media outlets, coordinating interviews and securing positive coverage of team events, players, and organizational initiatives while acting as primary communications contact throughout the year.
Produced, planned, and implemented digital content and creative campaigns while managing Meta advertising budgets to increase brand awareness, strengthen sponsor activation, and highlight players, coaches, and community initiatives.
Worked closely with hockey operations, coaching staff, and the front office to coordinate player transactions, media availability, and organizational communications.
Wrote and edited press releases, game notes, feature stories, player biographies, and game recaps on player movement and transactions while maintaining the organization's official website.
Produced and implemented graphic assets utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva, and Filmora to support marketing, promotional, and merchandise campaigns.
Coordinated game-day media operations by supervising media and photography interns, assigning event responsibilities, and serving as the primary point of contact for visiting media and broadcasters.
Odessa Jackalopes (NAHL) | Director of Broadcasting & Media Relations Odessa, TX | 2018 - 2021
Play-by-play voice of the Odessa Jackalopes hockey club, broadcasting over 140 games using traditional radio and remote Comrex broadcast systems in the North American Hockey League.
Wrote, produced, and hosted weekly coaches show with player and guest interviews, as well as pregame, intermission, and postgame shows and interviews.
Developed corporate sponsorships and increased brand visibility in the community.
Produced and managed social media content including graphics, videos, and in-game updates.
Produced printed material, such as line charts, programs, schedules and game day packets.
Coordinated media posts and releases and hosted press conferences for major events.
Significantly increased radio station share rating on game nights.
Big Ten Network Student U | Play-by-play/on-air talent Michigan State Univ. | 2013 – 2018
Served as play-by-play announcer, color commentator, and sideline reporter for NCAA Division I hockey, baseball, softball, and soccer while conducting interviews with student-athletes and coaches and collaborating with production crews on live broadcasts.
Operated on-site audio and coordinated with the main board ops at the Chicago headquarters.
Handled camera operations for select broadcasts.
Muskegon Lumberjacks (USHL) | Broadcast Intern Muskegon, MI | September 2017 – April 2018
Assisted on-air play-by-play talent in game-day stat-sheet and lineup preparation, spotting, and stats.
Wrote postgame recaps for muskegonlumberjacks.com.
Managed social media accounts during games.
Wrote, produced and hosted intermission shows that included period recaps, score-updates and story segments.

Hosted Michigan State and Big Ten Hockey centered podcast “Behind the Mask”. Voted 2017’s best college radio talk show in Michigan.
Produced three to five written stories each week, conducted player and coach interviews, and covered breaking news surrounding Michigan State hockey.
